Simultaneous solution of system dynamic equations and control-function optimisation using the conjugate-gradient algorithm

An algorithm is presented for simultaneously iteratively solving the system equations and optimising the control function for linear systems with quadratic performance indexes, using the conjugate-gradient algorithm. A potential advantage is that the integrations of differential equations often associated with methods for solving such problems are replaced by quadratures.
