Abstract :
The space spectral domain approach (SSDA), a combination of the conventional method of lines and the spectral domain approach, is extended to analyze a class of finline resonators. The existing SSDA procedure is simplified using the property of the diagonal matrices, which leads to numerical stability with less computational effort. As an illustration the resonant frequencies of the rectangular and triangular finline resonator are computed.<>
