Abstract :
A recursive relationship is developed for the computation of coefficients in the polynomial approximation to an f.e.t. transfer characteristic. The analysis is valid for any value of resistance in the source circuit and takes account of practical departures from the idealised square-law relationship which is frequently assumed to represent the device.
