Nonsinusoidal waveform constructions for avalanche-diode-oscillation modes

A simple model of avalanche-diode operation is developed. By restricting the type of microwave circuit to one which presents to the diode the same resistive impedance at the fundamental and all harmonics, it is possible to define a time constant and construct nonsinusoidal waveforms involving exponential functions of time.
