Abstract :
Detector electronic circuitry used for counting scattering and attenuation events of 511 keV photons beam is described The circuitry is mounted on a 100 Ã 160 mm2 circuit board, which can be used as a module in a so-called positron transmission measurement system capable of sampling photon rate values having a signal-to-noise ratio three times better than that of a normally distributed photon beam.
