Abstract
Recent advances made with a solid state radiation dosimeter are reported. The theory of the sensor and the mode of operation are reviewed. The dosimetric parameters including sensitivity, long term and temperature stability, linearity and repeatability of the sensor have been improved and their values are presented. The applications of the sensor are discussed.
