Abstract :
A compact microstrip dual band transversal bandpass filter (DBTBPF) using short-circuited stub loaded half-wavelength resonator and stepped impedance resonator is proposed. Multiple transmission zeros are created to improve the selectivity of the DBTBPF. Furthermore, the bandwidths of the proposed filter can be regulated in a relatively wide range. Two 2.4/5.2 GHz DBTBPFs with 192 MHz and 120 MHz absolute equal bandwidths, respectively, are designed. The measured results agree well with the simulations.
