  • Abstract
    A multimaster bus (BVX) has been defined to connect up to 15 VME crates. The VIP interfaces the VME bus [1] and/or the VSB bus [2] to the BVX. It allows direct access between any VME or VSB master of any crate to any VME slave of any crate.
