Abstract :
Energy, time and position resolution have been studied, for 511 kev annihilation radiation detected in a 15 cm diameter, 8 mm thick BaF2 crystal coupled to a multiwire proportional chamber filled with TMAE. Properties of other UV scintillators have also been studied.
