Abstract :
The paper describes a bilateral high frequency DC/AC convertor for uninterrupted power supply applications. The proposed convertor can also function as a battery charger without any additional power circuit components. Moreover, this convertor provides ohmic isolation between the DC source and the load at high switching frequencies for the forward and reverse power flow modes of operation. Consequently, the convertor exhibits high power density.
