Abstract :
The constraint of “regular” elements for “finite volumes” applied to Maxwell´s integral equations, has been removed by introducing additional 9-node and 10-node bricks. These form “glue elements” which allow bisection of brick dimensions ad lib, leading to non-uniform, unstructured meshing. These bricks also permit first rather than zero´th order boundary fitting
