Abstract :
This paper presents different aspects of the magnetodynamic and thermal analysis using 2D or 3D combined analytical and finite element eddy current computation. The proposed formulations are applied to cold crucible induction plasma devices (CCIPD). In the load of such devices, the electromagnetic solution is obtained when the determination of the electric conductivity takes account of thermal and fluid mechanical phenomena
