            Abstract : 
Television distribution by frequency modulation is considered as an important application of satellite [1,2]. Bandwidth reduction is always an interesting feature for increasing the number of channels as well as reducing the signal to noise ratio in a noisy environment. In this paper, relations between the color distortion and the channel bandwidth and phase characteristics are discussed. Parameters for standards design are given.
