Abstract :
Some explicit frequency domain ∞-norm error bounds for 2-D model reduction of denominator separable systems are derived. They are based on 1-D balanced model reduction and Hankel approximation methods. The evaluation of these error bounds only involves the computation of Hankel singular values of two 1-D transfer matrices
