Abstract :
A receiver concept is proposed for simultaneous reception of two binary phase shift keying modulated cochannel signals, e.g. two desired signals of different strength. The receiver principle is based on suppression of the strong signal by using decision feedback, followed by demodulation of the weak signal. Bit error probability is derived and evaluated for both signals for the additive white Gaussian noise channel.
