Abstract :
An optimal linear-regulator problem is augmented by including a quadratic trajectory-sensitivity term in the integrand of the cost function and specifying a linear feedback control comprising both state and trajectory-sensitivity terms. The resulting specific optimal-control problem is solved assuming that the initial state is known. The method leads to a computationally feasible scheme, even for high-order systems.
