  • Abstract
    Computer simulation of avalanche noise has to rely on the availability of a fast but accurate general avalanche-diode-simulation program. By adding a suitable 2nd-order correction to a 1st-order method, these requirements can be fulfilled. Preliminary results of small-signal noise in an avalanche-diode amplifier are presented.
