Abstract :
This article presents an autobiographical account of the foundation of Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX). The first few launch attempts of the Falcon rockets are also presented. SpaceX aims to develop cheap, reusable launch vehicles and to help fulfill the quest to land a human on Mars.
