Abstract :
In a recent letter, coefficients for a maximally flat nonrecursive transfer function were obtained via a special solution to the Hermite interpolation formula. This letter, however, shows how these coefficients can also be obtained by a simple `classical¿ method that sets derivatives of a rational function to zero.
