Abstract
The diffracted-beam profiles launched at different frequencies by chirped and apodised elastic surface-wave interdigital transducers on anisotropic substrates are calculated by means of an angular spectrum of straight-crested surface waves and are shown to agree with experiment in both amplitude and phase.
