            Abstract : 
Current/time waveforms of two types have been observed in InP liquid epitaxial material, one showing a steady train of `domain-like¿ oscillations, the other being unstable. It is observed that avalanching can take place in these latter samples, and it is suggested that this is the cause of the instability.
