Abstract :
This paper deals with the problem of selecting optimum probing signals for identifying multiple-input multiple-output time-varying linear M -ary channels in the presence of colored Gaussian noise. Unequal emission and observation intervals are considered and necessary and sufficient conditions for nonsingular identification are established. Hilbert-space methods are used for unifying many seemingly different problems in a single framework.
