Abstract :
The isolation between right- and left-hand circularly polarised plane waves is evaluated and compared with that between orthogonal linear plane waves for propagation through rain with nonspherical drops. It is seen that the linear orthogonal mode of propagation will give superior isolation when a distribution of raindrop canting angles is considered.
