Abstract :
The properties of the lowest flexural mode of a wedge-shaped elastic waveguide are discussed. It is shown that this mode can be used as a dispersionfree topographic guide for acoustic surface waves. Curves completely characterising the guided mode for any value of the top angle are presented.
