Abstract :
With the adaptive subcarrier allocation scheme, system performance could be guaranteed by leaving out the weak subcarriers. However, under a time-variant channel, the side information can not feedback to transmitter instantly and, then, system performance is degenerated. Error control coding techniques provide a way to improve the system performance. In this paper, a subcarrier allocation scheme combined different error control codings techniques including the repeat code and linear block codes is proposed to improve system performance. The efficiency of this technique is demonstrated by the simulation results. The proposed scheme has a better BER performance than that with the original subcarrier allocation scheme.
