Abstract :
Two monolithic integrated circuits1 comprise a versatile, low cost remote control system with radio frequency carrier. Capable of two channels of analog and two channels of digital control by the use of a pulse code modulation technique, the IC´s employ unique circuit concepts to simplify system design and reduce external parts count. This paper describes the system and circuit concepts behind the new remote control chip set.
