Abstract :
Two microstrip lines coupled by closely spaced resistive links show coupling which is almost independent of frequency. This principle is used to design broadband directional couplers of 3 and 10 dB coupling. The 3 dB coupler has been constructed and tested experimentally and the theory has been verified.
