Abstract :
An exact method for solving coupled electronic¿thermal networks, such as circuits containing semiconductor devices, is presented. The algorithm proposed here for the d.c., a.c. and transient solutions is a generalisation of the d.c. `simultaneous-solution¿ method published earlier. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the significance of mostly neglected thermal effects.
