Abstract :
The close relationship between the crystal symmetry and vibrational properties of a material is utilised in the design of broadband monolithic high-frequency crystal filters. Using a pseudo-3-fold-symmetry direction in LiNbO3, plate resonators with a single-mode resonance have been constructed.
