Abstract :
An image reconstitution method from a biological object immersed in a homogeneous medium is presented. The theoretical analysis is based on the principle that the scattered electromagnetic field is a function of the volumetric distribution of equivalent currents inside the object. An image reconstitution method from the biological object is proposed by tomographic pictures, which permits us to obtain the equivalent current volumetric distribution from the scattered electromagnetic-field measurement in a plane situated behind the object. To test this method, the image of a dielectric cube is obtained from the calculated scattered electromagnetic field.
