Abstract :
An exact analysis of the MMPP/G/1/K queuing model is carried out, yielding the whole buffer occupancy probability distribution and in particular the loss probability. The solution is obtained by an algorithmic procedure and requires only algebraic manipulations. An expression for the Laplace-Stieltjes transform of the virtual waiting time distribution is derived
