  • Abstract
    A recently proposed method of parameter estimation of a linear dynamic system with state-variable characterisation is compared with an earlier instrumental variable technique for estimating the parameters of the difference-equation model of the same system. In both methods, a pseudorandom-binary-sequence test signal is used.
