  • Abstract
    Waveguide conductor losses are mostIy determined from the fields in the Iossless case. In planar waveguide structures with sharp edges special care has to be taken, because then the fields can be quite different from those in the Iossless case. This paper will explain why the calculated results are poor in some cases.
