Abstract :
The experimental 6 GHz Gunn oscillator consists of a TE101 waveguide cavity and a coupling slot, both being mechanically tunable in frequency. Fractional-bandwidth¿voltage-gain products of approximately 0.2, corresponding to Qext = 10, were obtained. Comparison is made with other broadband injection-locked solid-state oscillators.
