  • Abstract
    An erasures-and-errors decoding algorithm for Goppa codes is presented. Given the Goppa polynomial and the modified syndrome polynomial, a modified key equation is solved using Euclid´s algorithm to determine the error locator polynomial and the errata evaluator polynomial.
