Abstract
The "sector coupler" is a practical, broad-band power divider for overdimensioned, millimeter-wavelength, TE[01] mode circular wave-guide communications systems. The simple mechanical construction of the device, together with its very low insertion loss, high return loss, and low higher order TE[0n] mode coupling in the main line, make it ideally suited to applications where many devices must be installed in a long waveguide run.
