Abstract :
A switched-beam antenna with a low sidelobe level based on a modified n×n Butler feeding network is proposed. This novel design only requires addition of 180° power dividers in the Butler matrix part. A four-beam prototype is constructed. Measurement indicates that the sidelobe level is significantly reduced.
