Abstract :
A theoretical study is made of the effects of pre-correcting the red, green, and blue image co-ordinates to provide unity over-all gamma. The effect of gamma precorrection is presented with regard to (a) tone rendition on the compatible monochrome receiver, (b) maximum demand of subcarrier and composite signal, and (c) noise interference sensitivity.
