  • Abstract
    A structure is considered consisting of a waveguide 2 below cutoff, connected to waveguides above cutoff, 1 and 3, by means of suitable junctions. A dielectric resonator is introduced in waveguide 2. Its effect on the transmission curve of the structure is evaluated in the limit epsilonr→spl infin. Theoretical results are compared with experiment.
