Elimination of skewing in the amplitude distributions of long m sequences subjected to low-pass filtering

To avoid skewing in the amplitude distributions of pseudo-noise obtained by subjecting long m sequences to analogue first-order low-pass filtering it is necessary to choose the m sequence to match the filter time constant. This letter shows how this can be achieved.
