  • Abstract
    A mathematical formulation of the notion of an idealized continuous time quantum-mechanical communication system is given, using ideas from stochastic processes and from quantum field theory. The formalism is developed at an abstract level and illustrated by constructing a model of a coherent quantum communication system.
