Abstract :
A method is described for the elimination of nodes in a linear circuit containing dependent and independent sources. The connection between this operation and a cycle of Gaussian elimination in the nodal analysis of the circuit is also established. The node-elimination process uses an extension of Versfeld´s method the identification with the Gaussian cycle is based on Calahan´s work.
