Abstract :
The theory of wave propagation along irregolar anisotropic guides (fibers) is discussed in brief. The problem in question is considered by spectral expansion, which is constructed, in turn, with the help of the scattering operator of conical waves. The general relations are illustrated by example of a round gyrotropic waveguide of a small cross section.
