Abstract :
The electromagnetic coupling of an incident plane wave through an electrically small aperture, penetrated by a wire, in an infinite conducting screen is considered. An equivalent-circuit model for the analysis of the wire-aperture coupling is developed using Norton´s equivalence theorem. The method of moments is used to find the equivalent network parameters in the model. Numerical results are presented for several cases of interest.
