Abstract :
Two aspects of the robustness of the decision trees (DTs) trained for the test system were explored. Firstly, all the training data for the DTs were obtained from three-phase bolted faults simulated at various buses in the system. However, the testing of the DTs was done on a variety of unseen contingencies including HVDC line tripping, isolated line trips, and multiple tripping of lines in a cascading manner.
