            Abstract : 
An improved cosine-mode controller for silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) power converters is presented. The proposed scheme linearizes the input/output transfer function of SCR power converters. The replacement of monostables by AND gates in the controller eliminates false turn-ons due to bouncing inside analog comparators. Experiments have been performed and satisfactory results are recorded
