Abstract :
Radiation admittance for an annular ring microstrip antenna has been determined using the magnetic current model and the variational technique. The results obtained for self conductance of a ring source have been verified with those available in the literature. The expression obtained for mutual admittance can also be used to describe mutual coupling effects in an array of annular rings.
