Abstract
A class AB Si monolithic power amplifier which achieves DC to 830-MHz small-signal bandwidth and delivers +20 dBm at 1-dB gain compression power and 100 MHz to a 50- Omega load is described. The circuits dissipates 540-mW quiescent power from a 12-V supply and has input and output impedances matched to 50 Omega . The circuit has a small die size, is housed in an inexpensive package, and exhibits excellent tolerance to input overdrive.<>
