Abstract :
A real-time crosscorrelator using large time-bandwidth-product acoustic-surface-wave linear f.m. reflective array filters is demonstrated. Crosscorrelation is achieved by a hardware implementation of the Fourier correlation theorem. Input analogue data are processed at an 8 MHz rate in 40 ¿s samples. Hundreds of megahertz of bandwidth are possible with currently developed surface-wave components.
