Abstract :
An educational computer program which takes advantage of the graphical and computational capabilities of personal computers in order to help students visualize the dynamic phenomenon of magnetic diffusion is discussed. The program is capable of animating analytical and numerical steady-state solutions to a one-dimensional magnetic diffusion equation. The analytical solution is straightforwardly found from phasor analysis, while the numerical solution is calculated via the partial discretization method
